Using the Classmates' Contact and Activity Information Database

This application has been developed and hosted by "Two Guys And A Server". The two guys ("Geeks") are Patrick Birt (Husband of Lisa Brindley (Birt) SJHS 1984 graduate) and Timothy Smith. "Two Guys" are offering this service free of charge utilizing their existing equipment; applications; and Internet access. Their future plans are to start up a budget application hosting service.

Twisties []

When viewing the "Classmates Activity and Information" database, you will see little triangles [], these are called "twisties". These twisties are located next to Category headings. You expand or collapse these categories by clicking on the blue "twistie". Under each category heading, documents appear in ascending order.

Navigating

This database has been designed to be self intuitive. However, we would like to point out a few navigation features.

When opening and viewing a document, you will notice a few action buttons located on top of the document: Edit Document; Save Entry; View Previous; View Next. The Edit and Save action buttons are self explanatory.

The View Previous button will navigate you to the document that you saw listed above the current entry within the previous category view - it does not navigate you to your last explorer's view.

The same with the View Next action button; it navigate you to the next document within the category.

Passwords

Each document is protected with an encrypted password. You must know the password to be able to save changes to a document. The password you choose to use will be saved encrypted within the document. This will ensure that no one (not even the administrator of the site) will be able to obtain your password (possibly obtaining a favorite password of yours that would allow access into many personal electronic files and applications - this wouldn't be good). This also means that the administrator will not be able to tell you what your password was. However, the administrator can assign a new password for you to use.

To have a new password created incase of a forgotten password, contact the WebMaster@TwoGuysAndAServer.com.

To change your password, click on the "change password" selection box within your document (you must be in edit mode to do this). After clicking, you will see an additional password field displayed. Enter your current password in the first field, and your new password in the second field. Once this is done, you may click on the "Save Entry" action button displayed at the top of your document/form.

Deleting your document

You may delete your Classmates' Information Entry yourself. To do this, open your enty and click on the Edit button. Type in your password in the Password field and then click in the Delete This Document selection box. Once you press the Save button, the entry will be removed from the Classmates' Information listings.

Any other documents that you would like to have deleted, you must contact the site administrator. To have your document removed, please send email to WebMaster@TwoGuysAndAServer.com.
